Based in Geneva, Jobin Legal is a boutique law firm specialising in litigation.

The firm advises clients upstream of legal proceedings, assists them throughout these proceedings, and negotiates amicable settlements whenever doing so best serves the clients’ interests.

Because a dispute is always a challenge, clients need to be guided effectively and supported personally by someone they can trust.

Jobin Legal combines professional expertise with the human qualities required to embody that trusted advisor — while maintaining the flexibility necessary to adapt to each client’s specific needs.

Expertise

White-Collar Crime

The firm regularly acts in white-collar criminal matters, both at cantonal and federal levels.

This area includes investigations and proceedings related to offences committed in a professional or financial context: mismanagement, fraud, forgery, money laundering, or corruption.

Such cases require a nuanced understanding of economic mechanisms and corporate operations, as well as a strategic approach at the intersection of criminal and civil law.

The firm also handles international mutual assistance in criminal or administrative matters, i.e. the exchange of information and evidence between Switzerland and other States. These complex procedures demand an in-depth knowledge of international law and the practice of Swiss authorities (Federal Office of Justice, Office of the Attorney General, Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority).

Finally, criminal work often extends to the civil aspects of complex criminal proceedings, including confiscation measures and restitution claims. The firm represents mainly individuals, whether accused of, or injured by, white-collar criminal conduct.

Commercial Litigation

The firm represents and advises clients in contractual and commercial disputes, including matters relating to the performance or termination of contracts, business partnerships, and banking or financial issues.

The approach is decidedly pragmatic: each case is the subject of a detailed factual analysis and a tailor-made strategy, taking into account both the economic and human dimensions of the situation.

The firm primarily advises private clients — entrepreneurs, executives, and investors — which offers a decisive advantage: complete independence and freedom to act against financial institutions whenever required to protect the client’s interests.

Medical Liability

The firm also acts in medical liability cases, whether defending a practitioner accused of medical negligence, or assisting a patient who has suffered medical malpractice.

These matters, lying at the crossroads of criminal and civil law, call for both an understanding of the medical field and a sensitive, human approach to the dispute.

With longstanding ties to the healthcare sector, the firm has developed and maintained close dialogue with physicians and medical professionals. This proximity, combined with collaborations with recognised experts, has enabled the firm to build solid practical expertise in medical liability — covering both criminal proceedings (bodily injury, negligent homicide, breach of professional secrecy) and civil claims (damage compensation, patient redress).

Jobin Legal was founded in 2025 by Delphine Jobin who grew up in an environment where two worlds coexisted — the artistic and the medical. From an early age, she knew she wanted to follow a third path: driven by a deep sense of justice and fairness, she chose the legal world.

After her secondary education in Lausanne, she pursued legal studies at the University of Fribourg, then moved to Geneva, where professional opportunities were most challenging.

She completed her bar trainee programme within one of Switzerland’s largest law firms, which provided not only rigorous training but also invaluable relationships that shaped her professional and personal development.

Once she obtained her bar admission in 2008, she worked for three years as an associate in the same firm, before joining another where she remained for nearly ten years, ultimately as a partner. This trajectory was enriched by a period in London, within one of the Magic Circle firms — among the most prestigious in the world.

That experience reinforced her desire to evolve in a high-standard, demanding environment, while staying true to her approach and values.

In 2020, she co-founded a law firm with two partners, an enriching five-year experience marked by strong professional growth.

Five years later, she chose to return to the essence of her practice — full independence and freedom — and launched her own practice, Jobin Legal.

Her journey — from major firms to individual practice — reflects a conviction: quality ranks higher than size. The excellence of legal work and the value of a lawyer depend not on the dimensions of a structure, but on the skills, rigour, human dimension and professional network built over time.
